We all suffer from unhelpful, negative beliefs but, some of us suffer more than is necessary. Have you ever been in a situation where you had to make a life-changing decision and was faced with two choices: a bad choice which seemed like the attractive easy option and the best choice that looked tough to swallow. It might not be a life-altering situation in the sense of the heavens opening or life and death stuff – but you’d be amazed at how even the smallest choices that we make can have a knock on effect on the overall path we take.
In psychology, namely Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) there is an argument that your thoughts will dictate your footsteps. This ties in with Biblical truth, as Yeshua taught us the importance of our beliefs in co-creating our reality and then there is the favourite quote of Christian who favour CBT:
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2, ESV)
I have seen this truth in my own everyday experiences, the lies that we tell ourselves can easily become reality if and when we let them take root in our actions. So I’m really excited to start my Advanced practice Diploma in CBT shortly! (Continue reading)
I’ve decided to share extracts from my Reflective Meditation book “The Secret Place” across several of my online spaces, one of them being here.
Today I want to share the first meditation from the book it’s aptly called
Day 1 – “My Secret Place”

Humans can be very self-centred, this is really highlighted within relationships whether with man or God. Yet relationships are or should be about reciprocity, mutual benefit or put another way give and take.
We are OK when it comes to taking but not so much when it comes to giving. We find it much more easy to receive and very difficult to release.
I see this a lot in the online world, people are used to taking. There are free offers everywhere and we collect and hoard them, store them away but they hardly see the light of day if at all. They are like trophies or tools that we collect just in case we need them.
But when does taking stop being taking and start to become stealing (taking more than what was given/intended)? Continue reading The Give and Take of Mutual Relationships
This continues in from the previous post which looked at the concept of the Law, this week the topic of focus the 2 Covenants.
God didn’t just instigate animal sacrifices for the sake of it. The blood was an important aspect of atonement, it covered the breach created in the covenenat relationship between man and YHWH, as such the death of the animal was necessary in order for man to avoid death.
How many deaths would it take to continuously cover up these breaches in the covenant relationship whenever we broke our side of it? Even an endless flow of blood wouldn’t be enough to cover the sins of all humanity past, present and future. Though there was some covering for us, it was still insufficient. Our sinful nature would still ultimately lead us unto death. Continue reading What does it mean to be under Grace? (Part 2 – The Covenants)
This is a reflective meditation for emotional well-being particularly relating to reducing anxiety, insecurity and low self-worth.
I wrote this after meditating on Psalm 27:1 and it has been a huge blessing to me and others who I have spoken it over or read it to.
The meditation also includes scripture references which came to my mind as I was writing the words and is a great starting point for you to look deeper into the symbolism used within the meditation. Continue reading A Meditation for Anxiety & Low Self-Worth using Psalm 27:1
If you are anything like me there have been times when you have prayed and prayed for something, deliverance or salvation in one area of your life but no matter how hard you pray nothing seems to be happening!
Why is that?
I know that God has His own timing and that we are often placed in such situations to refine us, but that last point IS the key I believe to the answer.
This week I want to share a video with you, which will explain just what I believe one of the BIGGEST yet most OVERLOOKED reasons to a delayed breakthrough.
I would love to hear what you think, as this thought has been slowly gaining momentum in my mind for a while now.
So after watching the video, click on the link below it and I will see you on the other side.
Finished watching the video? OK, click this link to find out more.

This is the latest blog post from my website…
Today’s post marks the last in this 5 part series on learning to trust God. Let’s quickly re-cap the previous 4 parts.
In my first post on learning to trust God I shared part of my own journey and experience and, looked at how a faulty God schema can impact our ability to properly trust God.
In the second post, I began to look at the concept of truth and looked at 3 steps that helped me to learn to trust God more,
In my third post, I focused more on the concept of truth and how it is important in helping us trust God.
In my last post I looked at the difference between faith and trust and began to illustrate how both of these are vital to the life of a Believer.
In this week’s post I will be concluding by looking at the benefits and purpose or end goal of trusting God. It’s actually an audio teaching which you can listen to by clicking on this link.
I would like to share a few posts that have touched me recently, there is a brief summary of each one and a link to it too in case you want to read it.
- Does God get sad? Do you think there is anything at all that saddens God? This post looks at something that we all do which might cause this to be so.
- When the supernatural collides with the natural how does it make you feel? I’m being challenged by the supernatural right now in my dreaming life and in my waking life, not bad stuff really but when the supernatural coincides with the natural it can sometimes cause your head to spin. You can feel fear, anxiety, excitement, stress, joy, peace, humility, purpose, trust, faith and so much more .Have you had any recent close encounters with the supernatural which has caused you to reassess spiritual realities?
- Widening the gap between illness and health. Health and well-being enhancement is never far from my mind, partially as I’m in some pain from an osteopath appointment last night but partly because I Know how important health is especially after you’ve lost it. I’ve been really encouraged to find people who are not allowing their illness/pain prevent them from otherwise being healthy which shows that no matter what state of health you are in you can still enhance it.
- Last but not least, how has Yahushua (Yeshua/Jesus) changed your life? Here is a great example of how love and grace are instruments of true transformation you might recognise this story :).

On the Road to Healing
NB: This is the second post in this series, you should read part one to fully understand what I am sharing here today.
Life is a gift from YAH, He specifically made a choice to breathe His Divine breath into us therefore all human life is sacred, it is not be stolen or destroyed. But more than this, it is Yah’s will for us to possess something much more greater than this transient gift of life. It is His will that we possess something more greater, fuller and eternal than anything we could ever imagine.
Believers ‘have life’ because Yahushua gave us His life, yet most of us don’t know the life that we now possess and so live as if we do not have it at all. In the previous post I mentioned how our life orientation can be used as a gauge to assess whether we ‘have life’ or not and how much of it we have. Continue reading What does it mean to ‘have life’?
I just wanted to let you know about a new development on my ministry website 🙂 I am really excited about what YAH has put in my heart to do this year, for example I have just finished developing a free 9-week online programme that focuses on helping Believers to understand and reduce their stress, anxiety and fear levels. The full details of this programme are available here.
Blessings of Shalom to you xxx
