We only live this life once, so why just ‘get through it’?

Have you noticed how deaths of relatives and friends, particularly ones where we feel the death could have been avoided can get us to thinking about how we are living our lives right now?

For each of us our thoughts may be different but we all realise once again just how temporary this life really is.  On my ministry blog this week the focus is on living life to the max everyday, after all why should we not experience the joy, shalom and abundance that the Messiah left for us?  Too many times we make do, and think ‘one day things will get better’, but that other day we are thinking about is not guaranteed for us.

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.   (James 4: 13-14)

Live life

So I have developed three lessons based on an event that I recently attended which will hopefully give you some implementable keys and ideas to start living life more abundantly and fully.  You can find the article right here.  I would love to hear your thoughts on this, so please take some time to drop over and leave a few words.

Shalom in Messiah

  1. Great post. Loss in life makes us question God at times. I know in my own life, this has been a reality more than I care to admit. Suicides and murder in my family took a huge toll in my heart and soul. Thankfully, God never left me and now we are best friends again. Great post.

Please leave a reply, I would love to hear what you think
